Nobody knows this more than Jay Z, with whom she’s worked with for over two decades. Throughout this partnership, the pair have been involved in quite a few endeavors. This eventually led to Jay Z founding the entertainment company Roc Nation and appointing Desiree Perez it’s Chief Operating Officer. One of the most notable aspects that she’s been involved with over the past few years has been in some different tours. Of these, probably the most significant have been Jay Z’s, with the first being his 4.44 tour. Desiree Perez had a sizable hand in the running of the tour, which ended up becoming quite successful. However, later that year Ms. Perez also had a hand in the On The Run II, which featured Jay Z and wife Beyonce. The tour went on to become one of the most successful of both artist’s career, as well as one of the most successful tours in recent memory.

Having said that, Desiree Perez has been involved with quite a few other artists since she joined Roc Nation, with some of the more prominent being Shakira and Meek Mill. On top of this, she’s helped managed many of the latter’s biggest hits since he joined the label. Furthermore, Desiree Perez was also involved in the partnership with Brandon Silverstein’s S10 Entertainment & Media and much more, for which she was able to flex her negotiation skills.

Weekly Opinion reported Desiree Perez helped produce tours and documentaries for Roc Nation. She works with co-founders, Shawn Carter and Jay Brown while overseeing daily operations, labels, and publishing. Desiree accomplished negotiating the Beyonce Formation Stadium Tour and helped close the deal between Rihanna and Samsung. Since she joined the executive team, Roc Nation expanded to a full-service music company and record label managing known artists, producers, sound engineers, and songwriters.
